As part of our “Meet our People” series, we’re chuffed to introduce you to the another talented addition to our team. We recently welcomed Daniel Dixon as our new Head of Social, who previously worked alongside brands such as PWC, Dominos and Costa. His former roles comprised a strong focus on paid social and training in all aspects of digital technology. In Daniel's eyes, the biggest challenge for his team will be to stay ahead of the curve in terms of industry trends while continuing to deliver an exceptional service!
To help you get to know our Head of Social a little better, we’ve picked his brains to discover more about his personal preferences:
I’m excited to be part of a team working with such a variety of clients with very different marketing goals and products. I’m very passionate about continuing to improve the service we offer our clients and supporting the team in developing their expertise.
I have held a number of roles in digital marketing agencies and my most recent role was heading up the digital offering of business magazine, BQ.
Energetic, positive, friendly.
I’m always hard at work! Away from Visualsoft I have other commitments, including directing an Autism charity which is a social group for adults with autism, as well as playing semi-professional football for Whitby Town, which takes me up and down the country on evenings and weekends.
I’m a big Arctic Monkeys fan, so I would love to live a day in the life of Alex Turner.
More of an app, but I use Instagram quite a lot, both in work and in my spare time.

About 7 years ago my friend invited me to help him out and play in a 5-a-side tournament at Goals in Middlesbrough. It was the Visualsoft football tournament - my team got to the final and I won a box of beer for ‘Player of the Tournament’ and 7 years later I now work here!
