Funding has never been more easily available and it’s not just on offer from the Government. Google and Facebook are also providing retailers with extra support during this challenging time.
So what support has Google made available?
Google has announced that it is providing “$340 million in ad credits. The ad credits will be available to small and medium businesses, who advertise directly with Google or through partners, around the world with active accounts from the beginning of 2019.”
Businesses will be informed of their ad credits in the coming months through notifications within their Google Ads account. These ad credits will be “applicable across the Google Ads platform including Search, Display, and YouTube as well as all campaign types.”
Google is in the process of building these “specialised credits into Google Ads accounts, therefore notifications will not show immediately”. As a Google Premier Partner Agency we are working closely with Google and will provide further updates due in course.
How about Facebook?
Facebook has set aside $100M in cash grants and ad credits to support up to “30,000 eligible small businesses in more than 30 countries.
To be eligible to apply, a business must:
At the time of writing this article Facebook was still in the process of working through the details for UK and UAE businesses. You can however sign up to receive their updates on scheme
