Need to brush up on your AdWords skills? Our beginners workshop is a great introduction to AdWords, which is one of the most effective and measurable online marketing channels. Our experts will show you how to take advantage of multiple platforms including search, shopping, display and remarketing, allowing you to compete on a level playing field with your competitors.

You will learn how to:

  • Set up conversion tracking

  • Create ads, campaigns, ad groups and extensions

  • Create keywords and ad copy

  • Understand quality score and ad rank

How did you get into Online Marketing?
I started at Visualsoft almost four years ago as a PPC Executive and since then I have worked my way up to Pay Per Click Performance Manager, where I now train any new starters within the PPC team as well as helping the current team with any issues they may have.

What’s your favourite thing about working within AdWords?
Pay Per Click is an ever changing industry. There is always something new to be learning and testing on accounts which allows our client’s accounts to grow.

Can you sum up your Workshop in 5 words?
Informative, relaxed, simplified, engaging and rewarding.

What is the one thing you want people to take away from your training session?
The confidence to try new things on their AdWords accounts and experiment with new features they may not have felt comfortable doing before.

I’m attending your workshop next month, do I need any prior knowledge? Can I do some early preparation/reading?
As we have both a basic and advanced training school for AdWords this answer can vary. If you are attending the basic workshop no knowledge is necessary, however if you are attending the advanced workshop it would be good for the attendee to know the basics of an AdWords account already, such as:

Ad Extensions

What’s your favourite thing about running the training workshops?
Every training school is different to the next as we have attendees with a different level of experience. I enjoy when the clients interact with each other, by chatting with other clients in the workshop they can bounce ideas off each other.

My ideal session would include….
An open relaxed environment where the attendees feel confident enough to ask any questions they want.

How did you get into Online Marketing?
I started my Online Marketing career 8 years ago working for a company called Group M. I was trained there as a PPC Campaign Manager and it grew from then on!

What’s your favourite thing about working within Adwords?
It’s potential, you can start building small precise campaigns and grow, your scope is almost endless.

Can you sum up your Workshop in 5 words?
Friendly, open, plenty of examples, simple and precise.

What is the one thing you want people to take away from your training session?
Understanding that the basis of a successful account is with the build, if all the planning and preparation are done correctly and achievable goals are set, maintaining and growing your account will be much simpler and you’re less likely to feel disheartened about results being achieved.

I’m attending your workshop next month, do I need any prior knowledge? Can I do some early preparation/reading?
Understand what you’re actually trying to achieve, Beginners training will explain and breakdown the rest.

What’s your favourite thing about running the training workshops?
Being witness to the little light bulb moments experienced by clients as certain aspects start to make sense, it never gets old.

My ideal session would include….
Plenty of client interaction and questioning, the more a client points out the difficulties they’re finding the easier it is to narrow down the exact solution to help aid the account and client no matter what stage they find themselves in.
