Over the last year, we’ve boosted our headcount by 19% and welcomed a talented bunch of individuals to our team. We’ve most recently appointed Vikki Hawkins, to lead our brand marketing activity during our 20th year in business. Our people are central to our company culture, so we fired some quick questions at our new Head of Brand Marketing to learn a little more!
What about your new role most excites you?
I’m excited to build on Visualsoft’s existing success, positioning us as the go-to digital marketing partner for retail clients, potential employees and industry experts!
What was your previous role?
I previously worked for the UK’s biggest publishing group Reach Plc (formerly Trinity Mirror) for almost ten years. I was Head of Brand and Partnerships for the group’s North East region which portfolio included ChronicleLive, TeessideLive and The Journal.
Describe yourself in three words…
Creative, hardworking and supportive.
What do you like to do when you’re not hard at work?
I love spending time with my three year old niece, who has got me well and truly wrapped around her little fingers!
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
What’s in your coffee?
My go-to coffee has to be an extra hot, extra shot, cappuccino from Starbucks.
Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I’ve got a law degree.
What website do you visit most?
Instagram – I have to admit that I’m a terrible cook, so I love to follow food bloggers and add to my list of where to eat next (anything to avoid having to use my kitchen!).
