Update from CEO Dean Benson

Hello All

For the past few weeks we have continued to evaluate our response to COVID-19 to ensure that we support our clients, partners and staff in the best possible way. I wanted to provide further details on some of the measures we have now put in place.

This morning, I announced to Visualsoft employees that they will have the option to continue to work from home for the rest of the year. This is a bold statement from me, fully supported by the Board and Senior Leadership Team. As a company we have seamlessly adapted to a remote working model, something which I am personally incredibly proud of.

In addition to the above we have also finalised a plan which will enable us to safely reopen our three UK based offices in Manchester, Newcastle and Stockton on Tees, in early June. This will be done on a trial basis, initially with a limited number of people and facilities.

I'm certain that the option of remote working will become the new norm across the world and I want to make sure that we are leading the way and showing others how well it works.

I have also announced that Visualsoft will be making no job losses as a result of COVID-19. As a company we have adapted confidently and our platform continues to perform very strongly. The changes in consumer behaviour at the beginning of the outbreak have been well documented with some retailers feeling the impact immediately. Our focus has and will always be, to support the growth of all our clients in any climate.

First and foremost I hope you and your families are staying safe and well during this difficult time. The unprecedented nature of COVID-19 is something that none of us has ever experienced before but I am sure that by working together we will get through this.

I wanted to provide a further update on Visualsoft’s ongoing response to COVID-19.

We introduced flexible working at Visualsoft in 2014, and this has enabled all of our teams to now seamlessly transition to a remote working model during this difficult time. This means we're able to continue to deliver 100% of our eCommerce services as normal.

As recommended by the Government, we are however allowing a small percentage of the workforce to flex and as a result you may notice a temporary change in some of your Visualsoft contacts. Please be assured that you will continue to receive the same level of service as we continue to support and guide you through this challenging time.

As a valued client, we wanted to share with you our efforts in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and reassure you that we are here to support you and your business.

The situation in relation to COVID-19 is continuing to develop and we appreciate that this may be placing challenges on the day-to-day operation of your business, as well as on yourself and your family.

Every aspect of Visualsoft, from our robust eCommerce platform, to our Service Delivery and Marketing teams, will be operating as normal.

Staff at Visualsoft have long had the ability to work flexibly and we are therefore confident that we can seamlessly transition to a remote working model as and when needed to maintain your service levels. All our staff are equipped with laptops and remote connectivity software and will be contactable as normal by email, phone or through our Support System.

Your Technical Support team - Our Technical Support team will continue to be on hand during the normal hours 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. There will be an urgent ticket response until midnight 7 days a week. Your dedicated point of contact in Client Success - Our Client Success team will continue to be on hand to provide strategic advice, support and guidance. Your dedicated Project Manager (Build + Integrations) - Your dedicated Project Manager and the wider Project Management team will continue to be available as normal to discuss your website build. You can contact the team directly by emailing PM@visualsoft.co.uk or calling 01642 955176.

Your Online Marketing team - Our online marketing teams will continue to build, implement and manage your campaigns as normal. We strongly advise that you capitalise on the increasing ‘at home’ population; please get in touch with your eCommerce Strategist or Online Marketing team if you wish to discuss this further.

Just like you, we would love for everything to stay the same, however we feel it is sensible to make the following changes to ensure the continued safety of our staff, partners and yourselves.

Client Meetings - Where possible our staff will use online meeting facilities to protect themselves and our clients. If you do have a Face to Face meeting scheduled in with one of the Visualsoft team they will shortly be in touch to discuss video conferencing options.

Client Events - We are currently reviewing our client events calendar and we will provide further details in due course.

We will be monitoring developments closely and will provide relevant updates to this dedicated page.
