A special offers section (often referred to as a sale) is a great way of promoting certain products, departments or brands. A special offers section reduces the price of the selected products on the website.
Products appearing on special offer are highlighted in their own section/category/department on the website. The special offer products are also listed under their normal category however with the original price crossed out and the sale price listed.
On the product page, the price is also shown to be a special offer price. As special offer products receive more exposure and are listed at a sale price, the sales will increase of these products.
