SAP UK & Ireland User Group - Developing, Benefiting and Serving the SAP User Community.

We chose to develop a new website to raise our profile and help our members access relevant information quickly. I reviewed other User group websites from the UK and other countries to understand how they worked theirs, which helped draft our specification.
We were looking for a company that was:
• Flexible and easy to work with – flexibility on both sides of the relationship allows more to be done and you must be able to get along well with a supplier and develop that relationship
• Capable – must be able to deliver
• Local – This wasn’t a pre-requisite but it helps as we want the ability to meet face to face without travel issues and help support the local economy
• Reasonably priced
We spoke to a number of different suppliers and had a ‘beauty parade’ for our shortlist of 3. Visualsoft ticked the list on all of the above. We initially approached Chilli Media and they brought in Visualsoft on account of their expertise and suggested we speak to them. Having worked with Visualsoft we would recommend them, and have already recommended them on a number of occasions.
The website has helped improve our corporate identity, it is the shop window of the user group and the main resource area for everything the user group provides its members/prospects. It has been the single biggest impact on the user Group’s operations in many years. We plan to develop the site further and make it easier for members and to provide more relevant content.
