It is the aim of most websites to convert anonymous web users to either a sale or a type of action. From our research we have found that a number of people who are searching for products or information on the Internet are not ready to buy at that moment but would forward the information onto a friend/colleague.
The email a friend feature allows users to click on a button and send the product and/or information to another email address. We also give the user the opportunity to join the newsletter if available at this stage.
This helps to engage the customer more on the site, spend more time on the site and market the site to their friends from a simple to use form.
