After being crowned Company of the Year at the North East Business Awards just over a week ago, we were doubly thrilled last week to receive the news that Visualsoft has been named as a finalist at the Employee Benefits Awards 2015 for the Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy award.
The awards, which will take place in London next month, aim to reward employers that have excelled in a number of employment areas. With 24 categories in total, the awards cover a range of benefits including pensions, healthcare, flexible benefits, communication techniques and many more.
The judging process for the Employee Benefits Awards 2015 took place over two days earlier this year, conducted by a panel of esteemed industry experts. For the Health and Wellbeing award, the judges searched through numerous entries for evidence of a successful strategy that helps to boost productivity or engagement through employee wellbeing. Visualsoft excelled in all of these areas, and as a result we’ll go head to head with the other finalists in the ceremony on June 12th!
Here at Visualsoft we’ve implemented some big changes to our HR policies in recent months. Following a MBO in July 2014, we introduced a whole host of benefits including unlimited paid holidays, flexi-time and flexible working conditions, which has proved to be a huge success.
We’re super duper pleased to have been recognised by such a high profile group of judges for these awards – wish us luck!
