Visualsoft on the move!

In a time when the recession is hitting many local businesses hard, Visualsoft is celebrating this week after purchasing a new office in the heart of Stockton town centre for our 100 staff members!

We’re very pleased to announce that we’ll soon be relocating to our new premises, Gloucester House, which is a grade II listed building located on Church Road in Stockton. Packing is already underway for the big move, and with 100 staff members, 105 desks, 106 computers and a lot of cables to move, it will certainly be a big job for the whole team!

The local council has welcomed our move with open arms, stating that it will be a great boost for the town centre, which is currently undergoing renovation after a grant was received from the Mary Portas fund. This grant will enable the local Globe theatre to undergo major restoration work, and finally reopen in 2013, and with the new barrage also now open along the Northshore, Stockton is starting to see big improvements.

Our new office is much larger than our current base on Portrack Lane, and much more centrally located with private parking for our employees and visitors.  With much more space to take advantage of, we can offer improved meeting and training facilities, and also expand our team even further in the very near future.

Speaking about the new office, Dean Benson, our founding Director said ”We were committed to staying in the local area, and moving to the own centre seemed like a natural progression route for the business. We can see what the £20m regeneration is bringing to the town and that things are really beginning to happen here, especially in the centre and around the new Northshore development”.

”We’re all really excited by the move, and with all being well, we should be in the new building by late August!”

“We deal with major international partners such as Google, PayPal and Amazon and these new offices will provide a setting when we showcase our business to these and other clients.

“We have plans for further expansion and, now we have the space to do so, we look forward to creating more jobs and apprenticeships here in Stockton.”
