Visualsoft attracts more media attention

After recently making headlines in the Evening Gazette, Visualsoft’s great work has once again caught the attention of the media.

The Northern Echo published this article on Tuesday 20th April about Visualsoft:

AN e-commerce specialist has tripled its turnover and employee numbers during a 12-month period of growth.

Visualsoft, which designs and builds e-commerce websites, has increased staff numbers from 16 to 48 after a series of significant contract wins.

And the business, which moved into premises on Stockton’s Portrack Lane 12 months ago to keep pace with its growth, now believes it may have to relocate again if its rate of expansion continues.

Dean Benson, a founder and director of Visualsoft – which also saw turnover treble during the past year – said the speed of growth had been even faster than expectations.

He said: “The past 12 months have been phenomenal in terms of growth in turnover and employee numbers.

“From 16 staff in March last year, we now have 48 employees and a host of new national retailers on board.

“While we are coping with the increased staff levels in our current premises, we now have to seriously look at finding more space because the new business pipeline is very strong and I predict that the speed of growth we are experiencing will continue.

“Thanks to the sterling efforts of our very talented team, I expect Visualsoft to continue to grow quickly in terms of turnover, employee numbers and reputation.”

Mr Benson said the company’s increased pace of growth is due to the rising levels of demand for e-commerce web solutions, as the internet takes on extra significance as a preferred route to market during tough trading conditions, combined with Visualsoft focusing its business development in specific areas.

He said: “We knew that e-commerce and internet marketing would become even more important in today’s marketplace and, therefore, we have focused our expansion in those areas.

“A key development for us was the creation of a web marketing team, which offers our clients a specialist service aimed at building their online profile to ensure their products and services are easily found on internet search engines.”

He added: “It has been very successful, with the seven strong team generating significant income within its first six months.”

Visualsoft has built e-commerce sites for hundreds of companies in a variety of sectors, and is now one of the UK’s leading fashion website developers.

It won several regional and national business awards last year, as well as an internationally recognised Punctum Day Award.
