Visualsoft launches plan to get retailers digital savvy

We’re really pleased to announce this week that we have officially launched a series of new expert-led training sessions aimed at local businesses.

The workshops, which will cover a range of specialised eCommerce topics including SEO, PPC, Content Writing and Analytics Reporting, aim to equip business owners with the skills needed to increase online visibility and stay ahead of competitors, whatever the level of marketing experience.

The news comes just two weeks after the launch of Get Your Head Into Digital, which also aims to help Teesside firms boost turnover, grow profits and reach more customers. Thanks to the commitment to share knowledge, it is predicted that the availability of training could generate a £10m boost to the Tees Valley economy.

Our Chief Marketing Officer, David Duke, spoke about the workshops, saying ‘While the majority of small to medium sized businesses recognise the importance of having a website and using basic digital tools, an estimated 4,300 businesses in the Tees Valley have no effective digital presence and low or basic online skills, and we’re here to give them a little helping hand.

‘As a company we believe that it’s important to give local businesses access to this type of guidance – helping to strengthen not only their business, but the region’s economy and our reputation as one of the UK’s most digitally advanced areas’.

The series of workshops will be held every month at our HQ on Church Road, Stockton On Tees, and are open to all local businesses including retailers.
