Last week select members of the team from a variety of departments represented Visualsoft at our highly anticipated eCommerce Conference (or VSComCon for short!) – an annual event which see’s our clients, partners and staff come together to share retail knowledge and experiences.
The event took place at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, housed in a landmark industrial building on the South Bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, and attracted over 150 attendees from across the UK.
Aimed to provide an opportunity for likeminded businesses to connect and share ideas and thoughts for successful retailing, throughout the course of the day clients were given insight into new and upcoming eCommerce trends through presentation seminars conducted by both Visualsoft professionals and our fantastic partners. Seminar topics included Affiliate Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimisation and Multichannel eCommerce in addition to talks from BrightPearl, PeopleVox and headline sponsors Barclaycard.
Aside from the insightful and inspiring seminars, for most the highlight of the conference was the live Q&A session with representatives from a number of departments within Visualsoft. Clients were given the opportunity to find answers to all eCommerce queries directly from the relevant department. Attendees of the event had the chance to tweet their questions using the #VSComCon hashtag to appear on the live Twitter stream on screen.
Looking at the incredibly positive feedback from the day it is apparent that the event was a success for all involved! We’d like to give a huge thanks to all our clients that made the trip to the North East for the conference, as well as our partners and of course the event sponsors.
