Multi award winning department store and Visualsoft client Psyche is in the running for yet another award this year, as the team make the shortlist for The Good Web Guide Website of the Year Award.
Psyche is home to over 150 of the world’s most sought after brands and was one of the earliest pioneers for online trading, debuting their first online presence in 1997. With ‘Designer Retailer of the year’, ‘Drapers UK Retailer of the year’ and ‘FHM UK Retailer of the year’ awards under their belt, it is undeniable that the store has came along way since it’s early days.
A fully responsive site was developed in 2014, and March 2015 saw its latest launch with cutting edge technology literally at your fingertips. Every step of the customer’s journey and experience was considered in its design and function. The site, which was designed and developed by ourselves, aims to seamlessly blur the line between the personality and life of the brick and mortar store with the online world, bringing fashion speedily to the customer’s door wherever they are in the world.
Online, Psyche is continuously innovating and embracing technology. They would certainly prove to be worthy winners but face the competition of ‘The Letteroom’ and ‘Rare Pink’ who are also shortlisted within the retail category.
The category winners and overall Website of the Year will be announced by Nick Hungerford of Nutmeg at the awards reception on Monday 16th November at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, London.
