Vicki, who is part of the Visualsoft team that picked up last year’s Design of the Year at the Punctum Day Awards, is saddling up to ride from York to Amsterdam – AND BACK AGAIN – within five days.
Along with 59 others, Vicki is taking part in the Amsterdame10 bike ride, part of a fundraising campaign for CharityAdventure.org.uk, and is aiming to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The charity bikers are hoping to raise a massive £30,000 and Vicki is hoping that over the next few days they can raise more funds to help the worthwhile cause. Vicki said: “I’m not the fittest person ever and I’m pretty scared so any motivation would be massively appreciated.
“So far we’ve raised over £15,000 which is enough to fund a Marie Curie nurse for six months, so thanks to everyone who has donated and helped us achieve this.
“We want to raise as much as we can though, so if anyone can spare any money at all then please sponsor us as it is going to a worthwhile cause and will be greatly appreciated.”
