On Friday 13th we transformed Visualsoft House into the ultimate Superhero Headquarters in aid of TFM Cash for Kids. We were thrilled to be the main sponsors of Superhero Day in aid of such a fantastic cause and collectively we managed to raise over £800 for the charity!
Bauer Radio’s Cash For Kids charity uses the power of radio to encourage fundraising for sick and underprivileged children in the local community. Money raised goes towards giving the most disadvantaged children a better and brighter future.
Over the course of the appeal, Superhero Day raised over £30,000 for the charity. Team Visualsoft did their bit for the cause at our HQ in Stockton by taking part in a number of challenges throughout the day. The star of the show for the event was ultimately ‘Meltdown Wipeout’ provided by Stokesley based events company AR Entertainments. The aim of the game was to jump over and duck under the rotating arms of the machine and be the last man standing, as it effectively aimed to ‘Wipe Out’.
The team were joined by TFM’s Steve and Karen at the end of the day, along with Cash For Kids mascot Courage the Cat and even Black Lace, the guys responsible for the original ‘Superman’ song and ‘Agadoo! It was a fun and rewarding day for all involved – catch up on the events of the day on our social pages!
