Vicki saddles up for mammoth charity bike ride

One of our award-winning website designers is gearing up for a mammoth charity bike ride this Friday.
Vicki, who is part of the Visualsoft team that picked up last year’s Design of the Year at the Punctum Day Awards, is saddling up to ride from York to Amsterdam – AND BACK AGAIN – within five days.
Along with 59 others, Vicki is taking part in the Amsterdame10 bike ride, part of a fundraising campaign for CharityAdventure.org.uk, and is aiming to raise money for Marie Curie...

Our very own Director Dean Benson was in the headlines again this week as he gets set to face a challenge even bigger than building eCommerce web designers and developers Visualsoft.
As reported last month in the ‘In The Office’ section of this blog, Dean is set to jet off to Switzerland in July to undertake a one-day gruelling 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride followed by a 26 mile run all in the aid of raising at least £20,000 for local charities.

Online retail At 6.9% of high street

According to figures from the IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index, the month of March saw a rise of 15% in online sales compared to the same time last year as the importance of a good eCommerce website design becomes more obvious.
