Online sales soar for etailers

A number of UK etailers have announced tremendous Christmas trade. In particular, Boxing Day is being reported as the busiest day in 2010 for eCommerce with visits to websites 12% higher than pre-Christmas traffic peaks, according to Experian Hitwise. Clothing retailer Next enjoyed a significant rise in its recent online trade, which has pushed its year-on-year online and catalogue sales up by 8.7% and helped the UK business to reach its profit targets despite its high street sales...
