eCommerce Boosts Christmas sales by almost 9%

A recent report has shown the massive effect eCommerce is having on the retail world after it boosted sales by almost 9% over the Christmas period in the US.
Retail sales were up during the week that included December 24th, although foot traffic was down, according to the industry group report issued yesterday. Companies with a good eCommerce website were the main benefactors as they profited from the lack of foot traffic and captilised through online sales.
