Along with a recap of the best practice techniques and info shared in our Analytics For Beginners workshop, this course looks at a range of advanced topics to help you drive forward your business by giving you a greater understanding of your customers. Through the workshop you will learn how to:

- Integrate analytics with social media and Google AdWords
- Understand attribution, multi-channel funnels, pivot tables, custom reports and site speed analysis

How did you get into Online Marketing?
I started working for a retailer that was in the process of installing an EPOS system, this then needed to feed into their eCommerce website. I soon became eCommerce Manager and realised that I had a passion for both data and online marketing. Being data driven quickly led to Google Analytics and Conversion Rate Optimisation.
What’s your favourite thing about working with Analytics?
Analytics is proof, it’s factual and can easily prove right or wrong. It removes guess work and is the most important tool in your online armoury. It’s also so in depth and just keeps getting better!

What is the one thing you want people to take away from your training session?
Analytics is one of the most important tools you already have, use it and understand it as much as you can!
I’m attending your workshop next month, do I need any prior knowledge? Can I do some early preparation/reading?
Basic knowledge of logging in and viewing results is required, the rest is covered. The more knowledge you have the more you will take away (hints, tips, do’s and don’ts).
What’s your favourite thing about running the training workshops?
My favourite thing about running the workshops is when clients go away thinking slightly differently about analytics and start to use the full power of the tool. It’s rewarding to find answers to questions that we were not expecting as we run through the course.
My ideal session would include….(lively debate, client specific questions etc)
Questions are key as it means we can try to answer these as we go along, they benefit everyone in the room as it’s often not the answer that is key, it’s how we used the data and mined it to find the answer. Thought processes more than actual answers.
