You might remember us mentioning that our fantastic Paid Search Marketing Team were the winners of Google’s Ready To Rock Mobile Challenge 2015! The prize for this was a trip to Google’s Global HQ in Mountain View, California – and we sent our PPC Pro Manager Sarah Williams to represent Team VS!
Over 500 people from leading agencies around the world took part in the exciting 3 day event. During this time, visitors were given talks from a range of Google employee’s as well as insights from other companies such as Waze and Marketoonist.
The main focus of the conference was based around Micro Moments – the small moments that make up the (on average) 150 times that people check their phones throughout the day. Whether it’s just as you wake up in the morning or during the work commute, these Micro Moments are when marketing needs to be delivering results the potential client is searching for, these are the moments that matter.
Other talks at the conference included The Future of Search, Branding In The Digital Age, using Remarketing to Re-engage Past Site Visitors and a chance to question an All Star panel of Pay Per Click experts.
As well as attending the conference, visitors were treated to an evening reception in Silicon Valley on their final night. They also had exclusive access to the on site Google store and were lucky enough to be at Google HQ when the brand new Google logo was unveiled!
