Arcadia reports online boost of 27%

Arcadia, the fashion group behind the likes of Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Burton and Topman, has reported a boost in online sales by 27% when compared to the same period in 2010. Mobile sales continue to climb in Q2

IMRG have released new statistics which show that the average sales via moble has jumped from 0.4% at the beginning of 2010 to 3.3% in Q2 of 2011. Profits soar by 66% at ASOS.com

Fashion giant ASOS has released new stats this week which reveal that half year profits leading up to September 2011 have soared by 66% to £11.7m. Overseas revenue, which now accounts for 58% of group sales, increased 150% while UK revenue grew by 8%. ASOS retail margin was up £170bn and its gross margin up £10bn year on year. Solid online sales reported for September

The latest figures published by the IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index have shown that September of this year was a strong month for online retailing, with the Index climbing 15% when compared to September 2010. This equates to £5.5bn spent online throughout the month, and online spend for 2011 hitting £47bn with the three months run up to Christmas still remaining.
