mCommerce spend is on the increase

Recent research has revealed that the value of mCommerce transactions has increased sharply in the past 12 months. The UK based survey, undertaken by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), found that  the amount consumers were spending per transaction on mCommerce transactions has increased on average by £5.29, a rise of 43.3% to £17.49. Recent findings have shown that the growth of eCommerce for the first half of 2011 has exceeded expectations in the UK, when compared to the same period in 2010. mCommerce searches increase by 216%

Research from the British Retail Consortium has revealed that in the second quarter of 2011, searches on a mobile device increased by a staggering 216%. New research release today has revealed that the number of people shopping online in the has doubled over the last 5 years. The study, commissioned by the European Parliament found that the number of EU residents shopping online has risen from around 20 per cent in 2005, to 40% in 2010.
