Courier / Dispatch Integration

On any eCommerce site when a product is sold it needs to be picked, packed and finally dispatched. Dispatch integration describes the technology and system used to simplify the dispatch process.

At Visualsoft we have developed bespoke code and integrated with a number of major couriers and dispatch agents to save both staff time and resources. Dispatch integration with a website also prevents any human error and allows the customer to be kept informed in the dispatch process.

Once the item has been dispatched the customer receives a dispatch number and tracking number which can then be used to track the parcel on the courier’s website. Keeping your customer completely up-to-date throughout the entire process will not only help to keep the customer confident and prevent hundreds of questions via email, it will also increase the chances of a repeat customer through keeping them happy and informed.
