The D2E project is led by Darlington Council and supported by Business Link. It is also supported by the BAT (British American Tobacco) legacy fund which was provided by the company on its withdrawal from Darlington.
The project aims to support local businesses and SMEs to develop eCommerce websites allowing them to trade online.
The aim of the project is to get a core of local companies in the town fully "e-enabled".
