Digital Marketing Manager
We're on the lookout for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Manager to join our busy Brand Marketing team, based at Visualsoft House, Stockton on Tees or in our Newcastle city centre office. This is a new role within the Brand Marketing team, required in order to ensure sustainable growth across Visualsoft digital channels and to increase both brand awareness online and leads generated through our online activity.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you'll drive performance across all digital channels, manage our Social Media platforms and deliver innovative campaigns that achieve sales targets and overall business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Management: You'll be responsible for leading and ensuring the constant success of our social media marketing, engaging with followers and flagging customer service issues to internal teams where necessary.
You'll also be required to create and monitor Paid Social campaigns that make the best use of our budget and ensure we are reaching our target audience across all social media channels.
Strategy & Planning: Working with the Head of Brand Marketing and digital teams within the business, you'll contribute to strategies and plans aimed at achieving Visualsoft's customer acquisition targets.
Once created, you'll ensure the day-to-day tasks are delivered in accordance with these strategies/plans, flagging issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption. You'll frequently meet with digital teams across our SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, CRO and Affiliate Marketing departments to continuously push Visualsoft's own digital campaigns to deliver against objectives and further establish us as a leading eCommerce and Digital Marketing business.
Advanced digital channel expertise: It's crucial that you understand the inner-workings of digital activity, so a strong working knowledge of effective SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, CRO and Affiliate Marketing campaigns would be advantageous. You'll use this expertise to lead others in the team and hold them accountable for performance.
Industry knowledge: The digital landscape is ever-evolving, so you'll need to keep abreast of the latest trends, channels and events to progress your campaigns and consistently develop your knowledge/skills.
Thought leadership: Work with our Head of Brand Marketing and the team to contribute to brilliant, disruptive thought leadership campaigns to consistently improve company reputation, and produce content when required for the company's website and offline collateral.
Performance Reporting: You'll deliver monthly reports that detail our digital performance, detailing challenges and opportunities, along with recommendations as to how we can consistently push our performance to improve visibility, brand awareness and lead generation on a monthly basis.
Skills & Experience
- Google Analytics qualification (GAIQ) would be preferred.
- Degree-level qualification in a related subject.
- 2 years+ experience in a digital role, preferably in a B2B industry
- Agency experience. Whether that's working in one, or dealing with an outside agency to achieve mutual targets.
- Overall knowledge of all digital services with the ability to ask the right questions, challenge when required and make valuable suggestions that ensure innovation and success.

Experience: At least two years' experience within a similar digital marketing role is preferred. You'll also be a confident strategist and able to challenge performance from teams across the business.
Proven track record: We want to know how good you are, so we'd be really impressed with detail on your highs and lows and how you've overcome challenges to reach success.
Passion for the Industry: You'll be excited about and committed to learning all there is to know about all things digital. The Brand Marketing team is the voicebox of our business, so you'll be utterly committed to evolving your knowledge in order to push us to the forefront of the industry by utilising intelligent digital strategies and tactics.
Fantastic communications skills: As an award-winning eCommerce and Digital agency, communication is kind of our 'thing'. You're going to need it to be yours, too. You'll need to be adept at communicating across various seniority levels, both verbally and as written communication, and a confident presenter.
Positive attitude: You'll be proactive and enthusiastic with a penchant for problem-solving and using insights to drive performance. An ability to shake things up a little when performance plateaus would also be a great asset.
Organised & Outcome-focused: The successful candidate will be adept in managing multiple tasks at one time, ensuring digital campaigns are aligned with other Marketing, PR and events activities.
